Getting To Sun Valley

That is becoming easier as we now have several non-stop flights into the Sun Valley airport from major hubs, including Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Salt Lake City, and Chicago. Once you land at the Sun Valley airport, you are only 15 minutes from the ski area.

If you are driving here, every road leading into the Sun Valley area is beautiful. If you come from Boise (2.5 hours), you get to pass through the Camas Pairie. Coming from Salt Lake City (4 hours), you travel through high desert, with a dramatic approach to the mountains in the last hour. And if you're driving from the east, you pass by the stunning Craters of the Moon, truly a geological wonder.
